About

Ryan Killian

Photographer. Drone pilot. One person, start to finish.

Ryan Killian standing on a gravel road in open grassland, holding a drone controller and looking down at it, with a drone resting on a hard case beside him and low mesas along the horizon under a clear sky.
On location with the drone. Every aerial frame on this site started somewhere like this.

Most of the work on this site was made either very early or very late — the hours when the light is doing something worth driving for. Night skies and long exposures ask you to wait; aerial work asks you to find the angle nobody standing on the ground would ever see. Both come down to the same thing: being in the right place, pointed the right way, patient enough to let it happen.

The commercial side grew out of that. Real estate, business and brand work, portraits — the same attention, applied to something a client needs by Friday. A listing photographed properly sells the room instead of just documenting it. A headshot that looks like you beats a flawless one that does not.

Every frame here was shot, culled, and edited by me. Nothing is outsourced, nothing goes out straight off the card, and when you email about a shoot it is me reading it.

What I Shoot

🌌

After Dark

The Milky Way, meteor showers, and long exposure studies of motion and light — the work that takes the most waiting and gives back the most.

🛭

From Above

Drone photography of properties, landscapes, and developments — perspectives that reframe places people think they already know.

💼

For Clients

Real estate, commercial, and portrait work on a deadline, delivered edited and ready to publish.

How I Work

01

The light decides the schedule

Where it matters, shoots are timed to the light rather than the calendar. Twilight exteriors and golden hour are not upsells, they are just when the picture is better.

02

Edited by hand, every frame

No batch presets applied to a folder and sent. Each image gets looked at, and the ones that do not hold up do not get delivered.

03

Prices you can see before you ask

Drone and real estate work is quoted openly on the booking page — pick the property and the package and the number appears. No discovery call required to learn what something costs.

04

Your files stay yours

Galleries are delivered privately, in both web and full resolution, and I keep them so I can send them again years later if you need them.
